National e-Gov Award: MP's E-Nagar Palika Project Gets National Honor, Sets New Benchmark in Digital Services

Madhya Pradesh has achieved a major milestone in the field of digital governance and citizen services. The state's E-Nagar Palika project has been honored with a prestigious national award at a ceremony in Mumbai. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav received this award on behalf of the state. Along with the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, senior officials of the Urban Development Department were also present on this occasion. This award is a reflection of the state government's commitment to making digital services simple, transparent, and secure for citizens.

The E-Nagar Palika project has been developed with the aim of making municipal services more convenient, transparent, and fast for citizens. Through this platform, more than 20 types of citizen services are being provided online. Citizens can now avail services like property tax, birth/death certificates, and building permissions without visiting offices. This has increased transparency in the functioning of municipal bodies and reduced corruption.In the category of "Best Digital Initiative for Citizen Services", this project was selected at the national level. The central government appreciated the use of technology, data security, and user-friendly interface in this project.
