SRIT has onboarded Col. Amit Oberoi, Co-Founder and CEO of Carnot Research Private Ltd, to its Board of Directors following SRIT’s strategic decision to incubate Carnot Research under a formal investment protection agreement.  This strategic alignment is anchored by Carnot Research's breakthrough expertise in secure, on-premise Generative AI, advanced Natural Language Processing, and robust multimodal data processing systems. By integrating Carnot’s domain-specific AI platforms - such as their verifiable RAG architectures and zero-hallucination enterprise knowledge agents - SRIT aims to supercharge secure, scalable digital transformation for high-stakes enterprise and public sector environments

The Company has always maintained that SRIT undertakes and implements end to end solution for Govt and Corporate Enterprises.  In the process SRIT has control, on behalf of its customers, on the data layer and the base framework layer. With this incubation of Carnot, the Company will begin providing sure-footed AI adoption for meaningful outcomes. At the same time, Carnot will keep close watch on state-of-the-art developments concerning frontier AI powered technologies - keep working on niche govt focused projects. AI is impacting everyone and nimble lean-mean teams of Carnot will be able to churn out faster solutions than those large competitor of ours whose systems are monolithic-based.

This is THE opportunity for SRIT - while retaining its core competency and firm ground, SRIT nurtures Carnot as a deep-tech aligned partner - Carnot too are perfectly comfortable in working in the govt systems as already demonstrated by them for Ministry of Home. What does this strategic alignment and investment protection mean for CARNOT?

For Carnot, SRIT is more of a strategic partner.  Carnot will get inroads into projects which otherwise they could not have had got independently. Carnot had received multiple offers from VCs in Delhi and Mumbai but they needed a Strategic partner aligned with their thought and background. Hence, Carnot strategically aligned with SRIT. Founder Directors of Carnot are of the firm belief that govt sector deserves a lot of focus and having spent their lives in the govt, they can relate with and appreciate the peculiar issues well enough.

Also, considering the global playbook and geopolitical situation, there is a growing demand for trusted genuine sovereign solution providers with credible lineage.

War of LLMs & AI Models

There is a war of LLMs and AI models going on. Propriety models are being outshined by open-source models. Chinese are distilling the commercially expensive and high-performance models and churning out nimbler products.  We therefore need to be model agnostic and focus on use case applications and be ready to switch models - this is Carnot and SRIT’s basic AI strategy, and therefore “icarKno” is the harness which enables us to be model and hardware agnostic.
